The Essay on Growing Up in a Small Town

“I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania. It is the smallest city in the state. This explains both my love of small towns and my fear of cities.” These are words that only a small town in Pennsylvania could have said twenty years ago. The world has changed so much since those words were written, but that doesn’t mean that essay on growing up in a small town will not apply to you.

If you have lived in a small town your entire life, you might have experienced that sense of longing for bigger places. That longing will remain with you forever. However, if you are not still very young, it might have been forgotten. There is no age limit to love, though, just as there is no age limit to new experiences. In this case, though, the experience is restricted to your own small town.

As an adult, sometimes we are so caught up in our personal and professional lives that we fail to notice the smaller things in life. I am a very appreciative person. I have a very large bed and a room that I like to sleep in at night. I have a closet filled with clothes. These things might seem insignificant to you, but to me they mean a great deal.

Growing up in a small town in Pennsylvania allowed me to give back to the community. This began in middle school when I served as editor-in-chief of the student newspaper. the full report would commute three hours a day to school, but the money that I brought home enabled me to do some very special things with the students of color. I was involved in fund raising and promotion of events. I helped establish the school newspaper, held bake sales and sold brochures.

Growing Up in a small town in Pennsylvania also allowed me to play an important role in the community. I was a county judge and then state judge. The fact that I lived so far away from my family made it difficult for me to be involved with them as much as I would have wanted. However, I was able to write an essay on growing up in a small town in Pennsylvania that was read by many people. In fact, my essay was published in the local newspaper.

If I had not written that essay, I doubt that many people in the world would have. I am sure that many people read that article and then decided that they wanted to share their own experiences about growing up in a small town. The essay I wrote was read by many people. It is interesting to note that the very same year that I wrote that essay, my son was born. That experience has given me a deeper appreciation of just how fortunate I am.

There is one thing that I learned from writing that essay. If you are not enjoying your daily routine, even if you are in a small town, you must discover what would make it more enjoyable. I realized that there were many things that I wanted to do or see, but did not think about the amount of money I would have to spend to get them done. As a result, I began saving my money instead of spending it.
